How to Use This Guide
The Energy of Golf gave you the system. This guide makes you the coach.
Every principle in the book is real. But principles don't improve your handicap. Practice does. Deliberate, intentional, energy-aware practice - the kind that builds patterns your nervous system can run under pressure when your thinking brain has been depleted for four hours and the closing holes are asking everything of you.
This guide is organized around how golfers actually work. Some of you are self-coached - you'll use this as your own training manual. Some of you have a teaching pro or coach - you'll bring this to those sessions and use the language together. Some of you coach or teach golf yourselves - you'll find the implementation tools in Part Three specifically designed for that.
Whoever you are, the structure is the same. Start with yourself. Build the tools. Put them into a session design. Track the springs you're loading. The system works when you work it.
The Four Parts
Part One is about your own energy first - the self-audit, the personal protocols, the foundation that has to be built before any of the twelve principles can be taught or applied with integrity.
Part Two takes each of the twelve HaKi principles and gives you the golf-specific application: what it looks like on the course, what a practice exercise looks like, and what a self-coaching cue sounds like when you're standing over a ball with something on it.
Part Three is session design. Range sessions, putting sessions, playing lessons, competition preparation, and weekly planning templates. This is where the principles become a practice schedule.
Part Four is the toolkit - every worksheet, checklist, and template in this guide collected and ready to use. Print them, put them in your bag, use them.
One Rule
Don't try to apply all twelve principles at once. Pick one. Work it for two weeks. Then add another. The spring builds one layer at a time.
